Product Description
Paint CMC finds application as thickener, binder, & film former in paints. It is added for improving brushability and dispersion rate of paints on all kinds of walls. This CMC is completely suitable to be used in water-based, oil-based, and plastic emulsion paints. For latex formulations, it is utilized as stabilizer, thickener, & water retaining agent. Paint CMC comprises hydroxyl macromolecule chains & water hydration which results in increased water viscosity.

Application in Conventional Coatings
CMC with hydroxyl macromolecules chain and water hydration, results winding. It increases the viscosity of water. There is good compatibility in water or organic solvents. The compatibility of pigment is good too. Further, there is good paint viscosity and rheology. CMC is often used as dispersant, thickener and stabilizer in coatings industry.
Application in Latex Paint
Latex coating essentially consists the aqueous dispersion of both, polymer and pigment.
